Celebrating Purposeful Storytelling: A Telly Win & Webby Nod
At HopeWave, we believe that storytelling can do more than inform—it can heal, empower, and ripple outward to create real impact. Today, we’re celebrating two meaningful recognitions that affirm that purpose: a Silver Telly Award win and a Webby Award nomination, both for projects we proudly collaborated on with City of Hope.
🏆 Silver Telly Award: Faces of Hope
Our series Faces of Hope, created in partnership with City of Hope, was built to shine a light on the real, resilient stories within the cancer community. From survivors and patients to the medical teams walking beside them, each face and voice reminded us of the healing power of storytelling.
We’re honored to share that Faces of Hope has received a Silver Telly Award, recognizing excellence in video and television across all screens.
This award is a tribute to everyone involved—from the team who brought the stories to life to the individuals who bravely opened their lives to us.
🌐 Cancer Survivor Reunites with Her BMT Donor Nominated for a Webby
We’re also thrilled to announce that our short film Cancer Survivor Reunites with Her BMT Donor, also produced in collaboration with City of Hope, was recently nominated for a Webby Award.
This moving piece documents the emotional first meeting between a cancer survivor and the bone marrow donor who helped save her life. A raw, unforgettable story of hope, healing, and human connection—this project was a true honor to create.
Being recognized by the Webbys, often referred to as “the internet’s highest honor,” is a moment we’re incredibly grateful for.
📣 Honoring the Stories That Matter
These recognitions reflect more than awards—they honor the people, voices, and partnerships that make our work meaningful.
